felt Privacy Policy

felt is a minimalist personal journal app. Your privacy is straightforward to explain.

What felt stores

felt stores the content you create: photos, videos, and text entries, along with the date and time you assign to each one.

Where your data lives

All content is stored on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced privately through Apple's CloudKit service. Your journal is stored in your personal iCloud account. felt's developer has no access to it.

What felt does not do

felt does not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage data. It does not contain advertising. It does not share any data with third parties. It does not have user accounts or any servers of its own.

Notifications

If you grant permission, Felt may send you local notifications as gentle prompts to capture a moment. These are generated entirely on your device and no data leaves it as a result.

Your control

You can delete any entry at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. Your iCloud data can be managed through Settings → [your name] → iCloud on your device.
