Data we collect

Hang Buddy does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers. All app data remains on your device.

Apple HealthKit

With your permission, Hang Buddy writes workout data to Apple Health when you complete a hang session. This includes:

• Workout type (Traditional Strength Training)
• Start time and duration
• The app name ("Hang Buddy") as metadata

Hang Buddy does not read any health data from Apple Health beyond what is necessary to display your session history. Your health data is never transmitted to Manicgrin Media Ltd or any third party.

Local storage

Your app settings (session duration, reminder preferences, and audio settings) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data is not transmitted anywhere.

Apple Watch

If you use the Hang Buddy Watch app, settings are synced between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's built-in Watch Connectivity framework. This data never leaves your devices.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Hang Buddy schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.

Analytics and advertising

Hang Buddy does not include any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks.

Children's privacy

Hang Buddy does not knowingly collect any information from children.
