PlotWeaver is designed to respect your privacy. We collect only the minimum amount of information necessary for the App to function:
- Story Content: The stories, acts, sequences, and beats you create within the App
- Settings and Preferences: Your in-app preferences and settings
Information Collected Automatically
We do not collect any data automatically from your device beyond what is necessary for basic app functionality and iCloud synchronization.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Provide and maintain the App's functionality
- Sync your story data between your devices via iCloud (if you enable this feature)
- Improve and optimize the App experience
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
Your story content is primarily stored locally on your device.
iCloud Sync
If you use iCloud with our App, your story data is synchronized across your devices using Apple's iCloud service. This data is stored and secured according to Apple's privacy and security protocols. We never have direct access to your iCloud data.
Third-Party Services
Apple Services
PlotWeaver utilizes Apple's iCloud service for data synchronization between your devices. Your interaction with Apple's services is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
PlotWeaver may use Apple's built-in analytics and crash reporting tools to help us improve the App. This information is anonymized and does not contain your story content or personally identifiable information.
Your Rights and Choices
You have complete control over your data:
- Access: All your story data is accessible directly within the App
- Deletion: You can delete any story content within the App at any time
- Export: You can export your content through the App's export feature
Children's Privacy
PlotWeaver is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App Store listing and, when possible, within the App itself.
Data Retention
Your story data is retained for as long as you use the App or until you delete it. If you remove the App from your device, your local data will be deleted, but any data stored in iCloud will remain until you delete it from there.
