Where does it hurt end‑user licence agreement and subscription terms
Last updated: 22 September 2025
Overview
This EULA is a legal agreement between you and [Your legal name/company] for the use of Where does it hurt (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.
Licence
We grant you a personal, revocable, non‑transferable, non‑exclusive licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services and App Store Terms.
Account and eligibility
You must have a valid Apple ID and be legally capable of entering into this agreement. The App is not intended for children under 13.
Subscriptions and free tier
The App offers auto‑renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) that unlock premium features. A free tier permits a limited number of translations per month; the counter resets monthly.
The specific limits, features, and pricing are displayed in the App and may change from time to time.
Trials, billing, and renewal
Your subscription renews automatically and your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. If you cancel, access continues until the end of the current period.
Price changes
We may change prices or terms. Apple may notify you of price increases; continued subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, cancel before renewal.
Family sharing and availability
Family Sharing availability depends on Apple’s policies and your configuration. Features may vary by region and device.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies. Contact Apple Support for any refund request.
Fair use and acceptable use
You must not attempt to circumvent usage limits, scrape or bulk‑translate content beyond typical individual use, or use the App in any unlawful manner.
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, fraud, or breaches of this EULA.
Third‑party services
Translations are provided via Anthropic’s API and may require internet connectivity. Payments and subscription management are provided by Apple. Your use of these services is subject to their terms.
Health disclaimer
The App provides language translation assistance only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified clinician.
Intellectual property
The App, its content, and all associated IP rights are owned by us or our licensors. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your licence if you materially breach this EULA. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination you must cease all use and delete the App.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the App. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless the laws of your country require otherwise.
